Great for a birds nest!
I used this stuff to make a birds nest for my wedding wreath and it was great!
I stitched some burlap/.hessian in to a shallow bowl, and I used a Rattan Grapevine Wreath as the frame to stitch it to.
Then I got the Natural Coco Finger Table Runner, and snipped the thread holding one side of it together, and pinching the still attached end, curved the free end into a fan-shape. I then attached the fanned end underneath the frame to the hessian with intermittent stitches!
Very happy with the results xxx

Used for something else
This was ideal for making trees for my lemax village. The peices of sticks looked so much like trunks of trees. Going to make loads for next year. Getting ahead. Bargain too, a lot cheaper than buying ready made ones.

Ideal - but not as a Table Runner!
Ideal for my use - not as a Table Runner! I needed a rustic "bundle of sticks" for a craft project, and this "table runner" is absolutely ideal, wrapped with a bit of rustic rope, it make the perfect display.

Love it!
Beautiful natural table runner.
Individual sticks are slightly twisted and gnarly. That is what I love about it but keep in mind that because of that it does not sit perfectly flat. Very rustic feel.

Perfect alternative use.
I always 'deconstruct' these runners. They are from the flower of coconuts, and are perfect for use when I make rustic wooden fairy doors. Not many know where they are from!
