Good quality excellent price
I bought this as a trial as I have used other pebeo products. I was very pleased with it.
It has a smooth buttery consistency and it covers well. In thin layers it dries quickly and to a smooth finish, it has just enough body to leave texture if applied impasto style.
It offers excellent value and it comes in a range of great colours, metallics and iridescent colours too.
The tubes are labelled as opaque or transparent. This black is opaque so does not allow anything to show through. Transparent colours DO allow under painting or the canvas to show through, this is not due to a fault or poor coverage. Choose opaque colours of full coverage is needed.

Great Product
I really like using Pebeo Mars Black Acrylic Paint as it has great coverage, you only need a little and it goes a long way. It has a deep black pigment which looks amazing in contrast to bright colours, really makes them pop. I use it with a pouring medium and the pigment stays strong, it doesn't get that weak look some paints get when mixed and because it is a thick paint you can make your pouring mixture as thick or as thin as you need, just add a bit more paint to thicken or a little more water to thin it. I really do recommend this paint to anyone who wants to paint using acrylics.

excellent coverage
I was hesitant about buying Pebeo having only used better known brands before but I have been extremely impressed by the colour and coverage. I'll definitely be buying this brand again.

The best black acrylic!
I use this paint to transform dolls into horror dolls and this is the best black I've found for the job. It goes great on porcelain and also I paint the boxes with it and it covers brilliantly! Love it! I have also used it for landscape paintings and it goes well on canvas too. I'd definitely recommend this paint.

Easy to work with
This paint is very easy to work with has a nice pigment of colour although can have a bit of a brown tinge to it when painting with the brush.

good coverage and density
I'm using these acrylic tube paints to paint large size animals and background, on cardboard ,for archery target faces, up to 4' x 4'. The paints give good coverage and mix well. I do have to varnish over the surface afterwards to prevent the paint peeling off in the damp outside air.
