Perfect smooth finish
Use this to prep very thin pages for journalling without bleed-through. This provides a smooth surface ideal for writing on, much better for pens than the textured gesso I'd tried before - this is much more suited to acrylics. Dries quickly and isn't too wet, pages barely crinkled.

Takes a while to dry and then goes clear, was able to then paint over it and then use gilding wax as had put it through a stencil

A little goes a long way……
I use this for image transfer from a gel plate to paper. Ensure the medium you are using on the plate is thoroughly dry before applying this matt gel prior to transfer to paper. Excellent stuff and good value. A little goes a long way.
