Very Helpful Knitting Aid
I am very pleased with this purchase as it can measure Metric, Imperial and American sizes of knitting needles. I like the Metric and Imperial ruler style edges too.

Does the job
Simple but accurate, this little gauge has proven very helpful with my double-pointed needles. When there's no place on a needle to show the size, and a whole collection of similar sized needles, this is the easiest way to sort them out again. It also has a ruler marked along the edge, which has been a handy bonus when my regular ruler is not at hand.

Very useful
I have a number of cable needles but I don't know what size they are now I can check them easily also I have started to use bamboo needles and they have their size printed on the shaft of the needle which I am finding difficulty in reading the printing is very small but no problem now it's easy to check.

Sturdy and useful
This gauge is made of quite thick plastic, so it's quite strong and I think it will last well. The numbers are clear (red printed on white) and easy to read. The ruler shows inches and mm on both sides. The needle sizes are shown in Imperial and mm on one side and US and mm on the other side.

Useful little tool
I inherited a large number of knitting needles from a relative, collected over several years and so, had some difficulty determining the correct size for some. This little tool, takes all the guesswork away, and is extremely simple to use, my 7 year old has even used it
