A great new craft
My husband suggested trying punch needle I was a serious cross stitcher for 35 years but arthurites meant I could not hold the needle.
Within a week I was hooked. Hubby drew the pictures on the back of the fabric you sew on the back. Stitches are running stitches on the side you work, and loops on the side you will show. Mixing running stitch and loops gives great texture. We were on lock down in March when I started and have 4 Christmas bags 17 x 7 inch Christmas cards and 2 x 10 inch pictures..
Punch needle can become addictive.

Nice needle, good for beginners.
i bought this needle 2 days ago and so far i am happy with my purchase. A lot of people say this needle does not work but this is not true. i bought this needle with the intention to use it with yarn and this needle DOES NOT WORK WITH YARN. i spent a good hour figuring this out. this needle works with embroidery thread, so if you use embroidery thread with this it is amazing! My only complaint is that the plastic cap on the needles breaks really easily and also occasionally whilst you are punching the needle pushes up back into the tip which is quite annoying but, as i said this punch needle is quite good. i wouldn't recommend buying this if you want to punch with yarn. This was my first time punch needling.

Good punch needle
I bought this the other day and I love it. I I set it up with the largest needle and bought some Knit & Craft ‘it’s only natural’ yarn and managed to make a coaster. As a complete beginner it’s taken a while to get this far and I’ve discovered a non slip hoop is a must as is the right size needle for the fabric you want to work with. I gave 4 stars as the needle did come loose a few times, I think the design could be a bit better but I know that I was twisting the needle a lot as I was trying to get used to changing direction, while always going in one direction it stayed in place. For a beginner starting out I think this is a good punch needle and a good price.

Lovely Staff!
I bought this the other day to give punch needling a go, it all works great, however the needle is a bit smaller than I needed (my fault) tho it would be great if you did stock bigger ones! The staff were lovely and happy to help, a lady helped me find everything i was looking for and told me to send in photos of my work as they’d love to see it, which I thought was really sweet! This was in your Brighton store.

Easy to use
I am a complete beginner with this and so my review is based purely on my experiences with this set as I have no comparison. I felt that the set was reasonably priced and looked comprehensive enough when compared to others I found online. It feels sturdy enough when in use and the directions were easy to follow. So far I have had limited success but feel that is due to my own inexperience. More practice needed!

Didnt work for me
I found this very hard to use on all if the fabrics I tried. The only limited success I had was on denim. I tried linen, poly cotton.to add insult to injury, I then found out on sale online for £1.60

Good for small punch needle projects
Being a newbie to punch needle, there are so many different types of needles you can get! As a beginner this little one is cheap enough to not break the bank but easy to practice with. I would only recommend it for smaller projects as the needle is small. But still good!
