Not bright
I was a little disappointed by this, but I may have been a bit over-excited when buying it. The description says "Bright Gold", but I don't think it's either bright or gold. Perhaps "Dark-ish Yellow" would be closer, and only if you're using it on VERY pale food.

This pen is of a high quality
Bought the pen for a finishing touch to my icing, I have to say it writes well, 2 thicknesses of the tip.
It doesn’t smudge, drys very quickly furthermore is value for money.
I will continue to buy these for my future bookings.

Oh dear......
So disappointing. Patchy colour which is yellow/orange - not at all gold. Fresh out of the packet it was already like trying to colour with an old felt tip pen. Annoyed to have wasted my money, but at least I can save someone else the nuisance by reviewing.
(BTW I'm a seasoned cake decorator so this isn't a case of unreasonable expectations!)

product was faulty and annoying
The pen itself was fine once I was able to get it open, it was as if the lid had been glued to the body of the pen and I had to use a sharp knife to actually cut the lid free, this was not only time consuming and annoying but dangerous as the surface area is not large and a lot of pressure was needed

Awful. Don't waste your money
I specifically asked for advice in the store and was recommended this over edible paint and a brush.
Its terrible. Not gold, more mustard yellow and to get anything out of it you have to press so hard I ripped what I was working on. Will be taking it back for a refund.

Waste of money
Whilst the pen isn’t dry, it won’t write on fondant icing which is what I bought it for. Writing is clear as day on paper but nothing shows up on fondant. Don’t waste your money
