Fabulous product
Blackest black but with a hint of purl but no shiny... you still know its black, It almost makes it look like a metal painted black. It flows really well, isn't sticky, doesn't smell. Doesnt separate like water on oil like some I've tried before, I found the pigment fantastic too it spread really well and I didnt need a second layer. I've used it on icing to cover a small peace fully once set dry with a brush and it went of fab, covered in no time and dried well and smooth to touch not tacky which is a pet hate of mine. I also used it to hand paint a leopard print on a bag cake which was also icing dusted first then applied the paint by hand on top and although dusted shades underneath It still went on great. Definitely recommend this product xxx

Edible paint
My first time using edible paint so I don’t know what it’s meant to be like! But it was very watery, as in the colour looked watered down. Not very black if that makes sense! Had to do several layers on white icing for it to be a strong colour

Used as described this is perfect, however I ran out of black food colouring and thought this would be a good substitute. My cake looked perfect when I went to bed however when I woke up my black and white cake had turned green!

Gods buy, but check the date.
Really good coverage when used with and airbrush, good opacity allows you complete quickly. Will be finagled but again and more colours in the range.
Beware, the bottle I got had passed the BBE date though.

This is one of the best products I’ve used. It’s super glossy black and goes on really well. I used it coat some chocolate balls for the top of cake and they looked brilliant. I’d definitely recommend this.

This product is value for money
I enjoyed working with this edible paint a little bit with a long wait and the colour and it’s great overall of the effect it goes and it finishes off my sugar craft very well.

Very good food paint!
Great product. Applies really well and the consistency is just right, not too thick and not too thin. Also a great colour being metallic. Would definitely buy again.

I tried out the light gold originally and have now bought the full set as it works out cheaper than buying the pens and is great to get a metallic edible finish.
