The Revell 'Aqua Color' range of model acrylics is great value for money at £2 for 18ml. Its ideal for plastic kits and any range of model making. The paints can be easily mixed and provide a solid coverage as well as being effective as washes and highlights. The breadth of the colours available means you can obtain the same quality of finish without having to mix it with other ranges of acrylics.The pot is a genuis of design ! a child in my hobbys group showed me how the lid comes off and connects to the base as a mini mixing tray! The pot is also a block and almost impossible to knock over as well as airtight so the paint does not dry out .

Good value at hobbycraft at present
Ok, so Revell sell their paints in 18ml plastic tubs, whereas top rival have theirs in 10ml glass jars and for the same price! but heres the rub...colours are sometimes not available in one range or tother, better value with Revell but the plastic tubs are not great, paint tends to dry out after opening quicker in comparison. Hobbycraft are selling both at £2 at the mo, which is as good if not better than internet!

This paint comes fairly thick and covers well . Dries quickly to a matt finish . Can benefit with an under coat or primer or a wipe on the surface with a degreaser beforehand. Can be sprayed after thinning with either acrylic thinner or water.

the paint quality and opening and closing of pot all perfect. WHY DO YOU USE 100 AND 300 NUMBERS FOR PAINTS TO SELL AND JUST THE 2 DIGIT NUMBERS OF PAINTS IN THE KITS - NO LOGIC!

Good selection of colours
I've found the paints to be a little thick out the tin/jar and need thinned down a bit even when using a brush more so when air brushing
