Excellent purchase
As with all Revell products you get a kit made to high standards, not quite the best but very good, and as with all manufacturers the fit of parts can sometimes be tricky, but in this case I have no issues at all, the usual seam lines and ejector pin marks, but those are just part of the fun building a model. Instructions are precise and clear and the paint scheme options are good as are the decals, overall 8/10.

Good value.
Quite a large kit which goes together well. Once painted and the well printed transfers applied, the completed model makes an impressive display piece. The cockpit especially is well detailed and although the model is not 100% historically correct for that type of Spitfire, it does build into a very good representation of this classic fighter plane.

Easy to do !
Bought as a Fathers Day present for my father who had just come out of hospital to help with motor skills. He enjoyed making it as used to do a lot of modelling in years gone by. A worthwhile purchase

Great value for a larger scale
Got this in the Black Friday offer - great value for a larger kit before building some more expensive brands. Some really good detail and the tooling is pretty much identical to the newer Mk IX release. A few fit issues with the vertical stabiliser but can be overcome dependent upon positioning or pre filling and sanding down before attaching. I built OOB - the decals took a lot of manipulation but got there with most of them with buckets of Micro Sol and Set - but plenty of after markets available.
