Good starter range
Good basic colours and a very useful guide for beginners to weathering.
One thing to beware of is that you can't brush coat varnish over these as the pigment dissolves and becomes paint. So spray varnish is essential.
The guide sheet is very useful but overlooks this.

Good sample set
A great introduction to the world of pigments. Plenty of scope for mixing colours for the required shade. The included guide is very basic but loads of video techniques on YouTube for experimenting with. Overall a good buy.

Excellent entry level weathering set
Revell's Weathering set is an excellent product, if like me, you are new to model weathering pigments. There are 6 pigments in the set, giving you plenty of options. The pigments come in plastic pots, the kind that are used for the paint you find in an introduction into modelling kit. However they are well labelled, but I can see the writing being rubbed off over time. The pots are stored in a cardboard holder, which can be taken out of the box and easily placed on your workbench, minimising the threat of spilling them. The kit also comes with an instruction sheet that gives you some basic uses of the set.
Pros: Excellent price for the set.

Revell weathering kit
Good kit plenty of colours. You do not need to use alot, and can mix colours to get what outcome you are after. The white "snow" colour is really useful for lightening a colour. Remember it dries lighter than you think. I would give five stars if the instructions were alot better. Had to go on online and do a bit of research before using. Plus if you put too much on, brush it off quickly and then with a soft wet brush, keep dabbing until you get desired effect. Very easy to use.
