A better method for silicone moulds
I have found silicone moulds work better with the use of a very tiny speck of Trex vegetable fat. Use about half a raspberry seed size speck or less of the trex on your finger and let it soften. Smear it inside the mould. It should be barely there. Then add your modelling chocolate or sugar modelling product. The flower should come out easily if you use this method. Icing sugar is not the best product to use with moulds. Cornflour is better than icing sugar too. If there is any moisture in the air the icing sugar picks it up and makes a mould stick. The tiniest smear of Trex method works on all types of mould. The advantage is that there is no unsightly dry powder. That said certain moulds are never as attractive as some. I hope this helps you in future.

Disappointing
I was unable to get the roses out successfully despite using a dusting of icing sugar inside the mould beforehand. They did not look like roses so I handmade them which took me two days as I had so many to make. I have used silicone moulds before but this one was very poor.
