Great for pencil work
Bright white board with a good surface for both graphite and coloured pencils. Surface manipulation with various tools is accurate and effective with no breakthrough in the surface. All in all a great boon to any artist intent on producing fine, crisp images. 5 star

Bristol Smooth Paper Review
I love this paper, perfect for using with Faber Castell Polychromos. With a very gentle touch this paper can take many fine layers and build up colour, perfect for removing colour with a eraser pencil or electric rubber, takes everything off with no trace 5☆

There is no key to the surface at all, so shading and blending work very well.

An amazing paper for artists
I've bought this for years, it's very fine smooth surface is perfect for detail work and holds heavy layers well. It can take quite a lot of wear, it can be embossed, rubbed out and reworked several times within reason, but can't hold wet mediums often used in coloured pencil like solvents to blend. There is a nice thick feel to the paper but is ivory white, so when mounting don't pick a white frame/mount. I'm unsure if it's totally archival but as it's acid free, suggesting is it archival and has lasted well for even older pieces. (Archival meaning it doesn't yellow and degrade in time)
The price is decent compared to many, and the paper is sealed when bought in plastic. There's a good reason for this, artists like to feel paper, however if fingers get on this paper it absorbs oils far too well from hands making horrible marks when trying to draw! When learning art or studying, the temptation to buy bulk and cheap is real, often causing frustration and giving up. This is within budget, can be cut/bought to smaller sizes and perfect for beginner to pro. If you use graphite or coloured pencil, don't use solvents and need consistency quality this bristol boards the way to go.

Fantastic paper for colour pencil realistic drawings
Best paper I've tried for colour pencil drawings. Works well with oil based and wax based pencils. Have purchased many times and won't be changing anytime soon. Best price too.
