Great for travelling!
Love these concertina sketchbooks (I have several in different sizes) as they are perfect for taking on holidays and days out because they are so adaptable. Paint landscape or portrait and extend to a width of double, triple or even more, depending on your subject matter. Good quality paper and I use for ink, pencils and watercolours. When you get to the end you just turn over and paint on the reverse, so there’s ample space. The slipcase is sturdy and keeps the concertina in shape when you put it away. The end panels are also of the same sturdy material. A great addition to your travelling or plein air art supplies.

Ok, but not brilliant.
They look good, but the paper is not brilliant. Once used it is really hard to get them in and out of the box. If you use watercolour the double-up factor bubbles open so might be better with the cartridge weight of the concertina scrapbooks. For the price they are worth a try, but I am going to get the scrapbooks next time.

Ok, but not for perfectionists.
It's ok but some of the pages aren't connected flat ad there's a bump in between them where the paper overlays. It's ok if you don't need it to be a perfect continuous surface. The pages are doubled up to prevent bleed on the opposite side of paper. It's got 36 double thickness "pages" to draw on, the first and last pages are stuck to the cover and not as nice. The paper is nice to use markers or coloured pencils on.

double thick pages
Works well with various media due to the pages being 'double' and because of that it's possible to remove something you don't like! I actually cut my first one in half as the length was a bit daunting, and just put a new back cover on the 2 new books. Worked fine - but only one fitted the slipcase!! Excellent value - have now bought 3 more.

Poor quality!
Sketchbook has poorly glued paper and I needed to glue the cover so it doesn't fall! I am highly disappointed especially that I expect a better quality. Some pages seem to be slightly damaged and have darker spots of gray paper inside of them.

Lovely book for a good gift
Lovely product and design used to create a scrapbook style gift that can be displayed. The way the front and back pages were stuck down wasn’t perfect, but it didn’t detract from it overall, and I’d buy again.
