Lovely, affordable high quality watercolour paper.
While this paper is not made from cotton it performs very well. I have been quite surprised how it handles water and allows reasonable wet in wet techniques. The paper feels thick, weighing in at 350gsm, it probably handles water so well because of it's internal and external sizing, and a lovely cold pressed texture. I've used this successfully for urban/illustrative work but would think that lighter landscape work possible too. Lovely paper. Well worth a try.

Great quality paper
I always try to buy British and Seawhite is a great brand. This paper was on special offer so I was keen to try it. I use watercolours to do quick sketches rather than detailed work and so can only comment on and rate this paper’s suitability for my style. I am very impressed with the paper and will definitely buy more.

Product is amazing!
I love this watercolour paper. It holds water well with minimal amounts of warping. You get a lot for what you pay for and I would really reccomend this to anyone who is looking for a decent watercolour pad.

Ideal for beginners
Having just started watercolour painting after using oil and acrylic for a few years, I needed some watercolour paper to learn (and make mistakes on !!) and I tried this. Its been perfect for my needs, and at relatively low cost means I can paint away whilst learning and improving without breaking the bank.
Once ive mastered (do we EVER really master things?) the basics and beyond, then I will move on up to the thicker and costlier products but until then this product is perfect !!
