Nice sketchbook - but special price not honoured!
I bought this A3 sketchbook for my son who is a student doing A level art. It was marked on the shelf at a special price of £8 instead of £16. However, when I paid for the item including the student discount, I was charged £14.40 for this item. I didn't notice this immediately because I was buying a number of items, and had to return to the store later to get credit. THis is not the first time that shelf prices have not been applied when I have bought items in Hobbycraft - it is an ongoing problem.

Great, would recommend
I love these sketchbooks, I bought them for college and so far they’ve been ideal. Great quality paper. I would give them 5 stars, but i’ve given them 4 because I wish they had a slight margin and a dotted line to pull out pages.

this product is amazing!!
I have bought this book 2 times now for art college and i’m so impressed. The paper is such good quality and isn’t too heavy either! 100% will buy this again when my sketchbook is full.

Lovely and sturdy book
We purchased this sturdy book to stick in my sons yearly school photos. To be kept as a lovely souvenir for him as he gets older.

Good quality paper, mostly quite durable
Nice clean white paper and a hard-back cover.
Only slight downsides would be that the ring binder has a tendency to bend and misshape a little and the paper does buckle when used with watercolour/ink.

Disappointed
This is my 3rd sketch book. I have been very happy with the quality of the first two, but in this one , which is slightly pricier( understandably ) than the last ones, the quality of the paper has changed. I can feel the paper is much thinner than my last two books and pages more transparent when held up to the light. I am disappointed by that as, I'm sure, that ink and wash, or watercolours will buckle the inferior paper. `So, only good for pencil work.
