Faults not acceptable for price paid.
Cost more than I’ve ever paid for a 50g. ball but it was variegated and I had seen it knitted up on a pattern and to be fair it does look nice when finished. However I was very disappointed as there were knots in it and several lengths where it was thick and pulled which is not acceptable in a wool of that price. I probably would have returned it but was lockdown and I wanted to finish my project. Won’t buy it again!

Lovely soft quality wool
This is my favourite wool for knitting baby clothes. The wool is a lovely soft yarn and a pleasure to knit with.
The Fair Isle pattern always looks great whether it is a small or bigger garment.
Lovely colours, I have knitted numerous garments in shade Bonnie and have just started knitting a romper in shade Benji.
I Will be purchasing shade Scottie next to knit a baby’s cardigan.

Good quality, practical & fun
I loved working with this wool. I made a koala which has the added interest of variegated looking greys in its fur. It is going to Australia to a new born baby, so I love the fact that the wool is washable and seems to look as good as new with all my carrying around and knitting outside too!

Lovely wool
Knitting for yet to be born grandchild this colour is perfect. It will suit a boy or girl equally. Lovely soft yarn that knits up beautifully. I love that it produces a faux fairisle pattern. Will definitely be using this wool again once I know the gender of the baby.

Pretty patterns
The texture is pleasant to knit with and the patterns this variegated wool makes adds interest for the knitter and to the garment. The patterns are not as exact as some computer-dyed wools I have used but the subtle colours makes the shift in colour look harmonious.

give a lovely random effect
I really like knitting with this yarn, the effect it gives is similar to fair isle but without the hassle. I would have given it 5 * but unfortunately 2 out the 3 balls that I purchased were knotted together along the yarn in a couple of places.

Love it
I'm about to become a grandmother for the first time and have taken up knitting again. This wool is wonderfully soft and silky, easy to knit with and the colour changes produce a really pretty garment with little effort on my part. Love it.

This is a lovely yarn to knit with, especially as a beginner. It doesn't stick on the needles and has made a lovely self pattern without too many fancy stiches. Very pleased with outcome and will have to try a different colour next.
