the same review as for double knitting . just sorry that you do not do three ply wool in sirdar as I think new babies always look better in a thinner wool . my daughter is know fifty and I DID HER KNITTING WITH 3PLY 4PLY DOUBLE KNITTING AND WHEN MY SON CAME ALONG HE GOT THE SAME AND I am now doing it for my second granddaughter and the one before that who is twenty six and have started to knit things for her and putting them away as I am eighty know and don't know how long I WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT . I also got a prize from woman magazine for my knitting long time ago.

Excellent product
Never used the sirdir snuggly before - im new to knitting baby clothes :) I was looking for something of good quality, soft and gentle, not too expensive and machine washable. Making a baby blanket just now with it and it knits up very well indeed. Would recommend and Im looking forward to getting some more patterns and colours to use.

Soft but has clumps
I usually buy a cheaper yarn but wanted the item I purchased the yarn for to be special, it does knit up nicely and is soft BUT every now and then there is a clump of yarn, I can pull it off but if you miss one and its then in the knitting, you cant pull it and it doesn't look very nice.

Perfect for baby blanket
I wanted to knit a blanket for my second grandchild, but one to be used, not a "heritage item" that might end up 6ins square if put in the wash! This yarn is just the job and knits beautifully. I knit lots and recommend this yarn, plus the cream colour is lovely.

Lovely soft wool
Lovely soft wool which is perfect for the sirdar pattern I'd chosen to knit. I must be a loose knitter as I've used more than the pattern suggested but still happy with the finished product. Would suggest getting extra just in case

Beautiful, soft wool
Sirdar Snuggly 4ply wool is so soft, comes in a lovely array of colours and is such a pleasure to knit with. It makes the finished garment look so attractive
