Not as expected
I don’t know if hobbycraft have seconds as this wool has joins in it and lumps of wool which needed trimming. This has made the shawl I’m making much more difficult than it already is. I don’t expect to have to check there are no faults before knitting each row as I do not like joins in the middle of my work. I expected all balls to be perfect and so far all of them have something wrong with them. I will not be buying wool from Hobbycraft in future.

Sidar always a good choice
I bought this wool as some 4ply just don’t knit up very well and I am knitting a shawl and want wool that was soft and a pure white which I got with this brand

Came to Hobbycraft knowing I would be satisfied. Excellent range of materials . Bought wool for baby shawl, again wide range of wool and patterns to choose from. Looked also at vast range of other craft materials. Very impressed with selection. Check out service exemplary, with extra safety notices and sanitizer available due to increased hygiene requirements at this time. Very pleased with whole process of purchase.

I am knitting a shawl for my granddaughter first baby (making me a great Granny!). As I'm on the final bit (the edging) I realised I wasn't going to have enough so on the off chance, I went back to see if I could find (hopefully) another ball with the same number. Well, the first one I picked up was not a match but the second one was!! I was ecstatic as you can imagine. Now happily knitting 96" of edging!

Its soft, doesn't bobble and nice to knit with
I have knitted several items with this wool and have always found it a pleasure to knit with due to its lovely soft texture.It certainly lives up to its name as Snuggly. It washes well, keeps its shape and doesn't go yellow even after several washes. I certainly recommend this wool for baby garments and will continue to purchase this brand.

Love this brand of wool
I have just started a baby blanket with this wool (Sirdar Snuggly) and find it lovely to knit with. I chose it because I knitted 2 blankets 4 years ago, one for each of my twin grandsons, with coloured Sirdar Snuggly and at least until very recently they were still using them on their beds. The blankets have worn and washed so well.

Sirdar 4ply snuggly white
I have knitted with Sirdar wools for a very long time 25years + and to this day it never fails to satisfy me with the knitted garment when it is all put together. Washes lovely and keeps its shape and very soft and non scratchy to the skin. I will continue to buy this brand.
