Wrong scale in listing
A great model Harrier, even though it is an old mould. One thing to note of point is that this kit is listed as a 1/72 scale model. In actual fact it is a 1/48 scale model...so quite larger than you might have thought you were getting!
Overall, a great kit and one that should bring hours of enjoyment from building...and even more hours from just staring at the beauty!

Great with some tiny limits
Overall a great model for beginner/intermediate. The moulds are very clean and detailed and the decals are high quality. The only negatives are that sometimes the fit is a bit loose and you have to mix some colours yourself. Probably not the right model for advanced modellers, but for beginners/intermediates its great.

Old school Tamiya
Other than the airfix kit, this is the only other 1/48 FRS 1 Sea Harrier with mainstream availability. Don’t expect “modern” levels of tamiya detail, as this is an old kit, but builds into a good representation of the Sea Harrier at a good price

Great detail and value
Firstly though, this is a 1/48th scale model, not 1/72nd. Value for money is good, to be fair it is a fairly simple kit to build so great for beginners, but builds into a nice looking kit at the end.

Well worth a go for this price
Made this as a palette cleanser. Easy build as you would expect from Tamiya.
An older one of the Tamiya’s kits with raised panel lines & lacking some detail but cheap, cheerful & fun.

Fantastic kit from start to finish.
A great kit from Tamiya, great detail,and no flash.
Raised panel lines and resesed also.
Easy to follow instructions, great box art.
Decals went down well with no silvering.
Ejector seat and pilot has great detail well tooled.
Would be good to see this kit in a 1/32 scale.
Clear parts absolutely spot on a great fit for the whole kit only filler used on nose area.
