Product description

The Tamiya Honda VFR750R Model Kit is a great way to recreate a striking motorcycle, perfect for adding to your model collection. The vehicle is moulded in white, silver and black, with features to authentically replicate the original.

It has a water-cooled DOHC four-cylinder engine, solid rubber-like tyres with an accurate tread pattern, steerable front forks, brake and ignition lines, waterslide decals and more.

The set includes small screws and a small Phillips screwdriver for assembly. There are instructions provided to help you with the project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Brilliant Way To Spend A Lazy Sunday As with all tamiya products, the quality is high. And can built by anyone of any skill level. Whether this is the first model you have built or if you are somewhat of a seasoned veteran, you are able to gain a good level of satisfation out of these. This one comes with the unpainted fron fairring, so you can see the lovely V4 engine of this rc30. I would suggest using a tamiya glue, rather than a super glue based product, as stronger glues and react with some of the parts, they are generally thicker and work a little to fast, its important to have time to ensure the part is correctly fitted before the glue drys, and super glue doesnt allow for this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Transparent fairing saves airbrushing If you want a 1:12 bike kit to start modelling this would be quite a good choice. The fairing, which could be difficult to paint and decal, can be left transparent, revealing the engine and other interior details. The coloured plastic parts look good with details brush painted. The box top illustration gives an idea of the effect, but Tamiya do not really spell out that this is an option. It is also a very economical kit compared to the "Full View" kits that explicitly are designed to be "see through".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First bike kit Not made this yet but looks a great kit and the usual Tamiya quality. I'm used to making 1:35 scale military kits so this seems to be really big and very few parts which will make a nice change. The moulding looks good and the tyres are amazing. I like that from the looks of it quite a lot of the kit screws together which will make pre painting a lot easier. I think it will need a fair few paints and ideally an airbrush so probably not a kit for a complete beginner. The price from Hobbycraft was really good as well and cheaper in-store than several online suppliers I checked out before purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent model As usual Tamiya make the best models, particularly liked screws to fix on the exhaust. I usually do not make the bikes with fairings as the engine is covered but good idea to include a transparent one.
