Excellent introduction to anime drawing
We got this book for our daughter who is very keen to draw in amine style. Within a couple of days of having this book, her drawing skills have come on immensely, and she has been able to create some really decent looking anime style drawings.
The book leads you step by step, how to plan out the drawing and create a scaffold on which to draw, to create a figure worth correct proportions, and includes some simpler and some more complex figures.
This book is well worth it for anyone seeking to learn how to draw anime characters.

Awesome book!
I love this book, my 10 yr old and I are sharing it. We are new to this style or drawing, but it's easy for us to follow. We both do a lot of digital art, and a trip to comic con gave us this idea.
I think if your a complete beginner I would go for this and a step by step guide, or consider tracing the basic forms to get an idea of angles and how the pencil flows, if that makes since?!

Best teen christmas present
Teenagers lve Anime figures, they are so cute and sexy, AND easy to draw one you've got the hang of it. This book is brilliant because it shows you how to draw and colour Anime faces, expressions, hair and full length characters from different angles and positions.

Great for beginning anime artist
I've been drawing anime style art for a while and this book has shown me some useful tips and tricks when creating a character and improving the anatomy of one. Overall, i loved it and enjoyed reading through each page !!

Brilliant book
All of the Christopher Hart books have given good clear explanations on how to develop manga drawing and this book is no exception. Nicely presented with lots of tips and tricks to improve their drawing skills.

Easy to follow builds skills effectively
This is a clear guide with lots of support in developing. It is clear and easily followable for kids but provides enough challenge for adults. Highly recommend.
