Great strong thread
This is great strong thread. I used to use normal linen thread for the odd leather sewing repairs/ projects but this heavily waxed thread is strong (cannot snap it with just fingers must cut it) and is waxed enough to give a good waterproof stitch. Can see this being useful for beading too though it does feel quite a bit sticky in warmth of fingers.

Why twine you might ask?
I was initially unsure of this product and thought the price a tad steep but on taking it home and closer inspection I was exceptionally happy and can highly recommend this product. I used it for jewellery threading beads. It could also be used for model rope for a ship as I also used some to make a model pile of rope as the wax means it keeps it shape and despite the wax it can still be painted. The waxy texture also means it knots really easily and forms a strong knot. Nifty twine indeed, useful no doubt for a great number of jobs.

Very waxy
Bought this as I had ran out and never renewed my stock. Was thinner than I’m used to and was very waxy but did the job just the same.

More heavily waxed tha expected
I'll be honest - I've never used waxed linen thread before, but it was more heavily waxed than expected. Having said that, it worked great for the project I was working on, so I can't really complain!

Good Quality Thread
I bought this thread for a jewellery project. Heavy glass beads which need a substantial thread to hold them in place. This was an excellent product. Better than I anticipated.

very strong and perfect for my neclace
I've used this before for jewelry making, it works really well. I've ordered 2 this time as I'm taking one out to my friend in Barbados as she can't get the quality there.

Not for me
Not quite what I wanted - probably my own fault but very thin and couldn't use as a nexllace with a sliding knot because it was too hard to make it slide.
