I'm really impressed with these. I used these with my children to decorate some stone garden ornaments and they were great. Very vibrant and the colours were as true as the lid. Thicker ones are better for large coverage and smaller ones for detailing but they all performed really well. They dry super quick so you can go over them after a couple of minutes if you want to detail over the top and light colours can be applied over dark colours without them showing through underneath. We finished by fixing with a clear gloss sealant spray from Hobbycraft as recommended on the Posca website. Well worth getting while they are on offer but even full price they are worth it!

Excellent pens
I had a set of these pens for Christmas and was not familiar with paint pens at all. I was a little dubious I have to say as I’m more of a pencil, coloured pencil, paint brush kind of hobbyist so was quite sceptical regarding this product. Wow was I wrong these pens are great they are creamy, colours are vibrant and it’s literally like using a paint brush and paint but with the accuracy and precision of a pen. This would be very good if you like to do graffiti/cartoon/manga types of drawing but saying that they are excellent if you want to add vibrancy to any painting or drawing. The white pen in a fine nib is excellent for adding in highlights to drawings especially for adding in highlights to eyes etc.

Great pens
I use these for illustrations and they give a lovely matt colour, similar to using gouache paint. Please note that the blue and purple are quite dark and don't really match the pastle colours.

Fantastic pens!
We've drawn directly onto canvas, made smile stones with small rocks and drawn some of our favourite anime characters onto card and all have turned out amazingly vibrant and durable. I would highly recommend these pens for all crafts. I did have to buy a separate brown but still ideal for a starter set.

Hours of fun on a variety of surfaces!
My 12 year old loved this present! She even decorated the packaging of the wood I got her to graffiti along with her chilli bottle! She’s very happy and is keen to add more colours to her collection. She’s now looking to get a setting spray.

Lovely pastel colours.
I was given some Posca pens for Christmas which I love (also bought from Hobbycraft) and I really love the bright colours I was given but wanted a contrast for the design I have created to go on my school bag. These colours are perfect.
