Excellent frame overall
This is a great frame. Compared to others I looked at for a similar price it seemed better quality. The joints were neater & it’s real glass not easily scratched plastic. The frame itself was white painted pine with a good finish & it was also available in grey or black. The fastenings were secure & everything fitted neatly. My only quibble is that the inside edges of the insert that provides the “shadow” effect are unpainted & brown. I know they are not easily noticeable but nevertheless can be seen from some angles and made my artwork look a bit unfinished. They can easily be painted over & this is what I did but it was a bit annoying.

I had stopped buying these because the quality had descended into the gutter...BUT...the new supplier is 100% on top of his game..the new frames are awesome...I will and have continued buying them since

Almost 50% damaged
100 frames ordered, 41 arrived with cut marks on the frame - I assume warehouse slash open boxes, and any damages get sent to customers in the 50% discount sale..... although not advertised as damaged!

Stepping stones to a proposal
As part of my proposal to my now-fiancee, I used these small frames to chronicle my love story. In each frame I inserted a photo and a small scroll with a chapter of our lives together. I hid these around the cottage we had rented at the time. In a sense, these small frames are an important part of my life with her, and part of the story of our future marriage. Cute little frame
I used this as a block instead of shadow frame for some cross stitch designs. I was uncertain if it would work but it’s designed very well and would have work as a shadow or block. Very pleased with the purchase! Bought 4 and no faults on any of them. Will buy them again! They stand by themselves as well or option to hang.
