So pleased with how this professional quality food colouring paste worked for the red velvet try out cake I made for my niece's wedding. Got the perfect colour without adding lots of gel to the mix. The finished result was deemed to be a success for colour (taste too thankfully!) Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good I heard many people say you needed sugarflair Extra red to get a good red colour but I got a lovely colour with this. I microwaved the butter until melted and then coloured the butter before making the buttercream. Left overnight, I had a lovely red with this.
