The product was fantastic and did exactly what I needed it to do.
I brought this brush cleaner as I'd been mixing up my brushes with oils acrylics and alkalyd based paints as well and the brushes just would not wash well at all. After spending a lot of money on the brushes as you can imagine I was upset and didn't want to get rid of them but they just were not able to be used again to paint. So after viewing the products I decided to purchase this Windsor Newton brush cleaner and followed the instructions on it. I was so pleased in the morning to not only see my brushes clean but they smelled great too. Fantastic product very pleased with it. Will definitely be purchasing this again.

Perfect product for cleaning oil painting brushes. Has virtually no small and clear solution. Value for money
Excellent product for cleaning oil painting brushes. First dry the brush with paper from kitchen rolls, then dip into a small jar with paint cleaning fluid. Make sure to press the bush gently at the bottom and get rid of as much colour as possible without damaging the bristles. Wipe it dry on kitchen towel. Finally clean the brush with warm water and gentle soap and wash it with clear warm water and dry with kitchen towel. Never press ends of bristles down when cleaning!

Does the job very well
After soaking my used brushes overnight and then washing in water they are beautifully clean and ready for more oil painting.

Pricey But Effective!
I like to use brush cleaner without a strong turps odour, & this stuff is good. It doesn't smell & works quite well - I used it to clean yacht varnish off my brushes, after varnishing small clay decorations I'd made for Christmas. It's quite pricey, but I use it sparingly so it lasts me a while. I couldn't find odour-free brush cleaner anywhere else, so was pleased that Hobbycraft stock it.

not the US formula
I bought this having heard good reviews of the product when used for cleaning paint and varnish from resin but it is a different formulation to the US version. It's okay for cleaning brushes but nothing special.
