This product is a delight to use.
Winsor & Newton Ultramarine Blue. Wonderful blue, brilliant mixing properties. I wouldn't be without it.

Beautiful Ultramarine with green undertones
Ultramarine (green shade) is a transparent, slightly staining, intense blue colour. Normal French Ultramarine has a hue angle of 288 degrees, leaning slightly toward the red. Whilst the green shade is comparatively less red its hue angle is only 279 degrees meaning that it's only a 2.5% shift towards yellow. It does however allow a lovely range of greens to be created through mixing with compliment colours such as quinacridone gold. A versatile, beautiful paint.

Great watercolour tubes
As a beginner, I don't usually pay this much for my paints. I usually buy the cotman range. However, I had run out of ultramarine and needed some for my class the next day. This was all they had in that day. It is excellent paint and superior to the cotman ones. However, for a beginner like me, I would stick to the cotman ones, for now.
