The Essdee Bench Hook is a versatile wooden board that holds your linoleum as you cut out an image.

The bottom is pressed into the edge of a table to prevent slipping, whilst the angled top keeps your lino in place. It can also keep your lino-chippings all in one place, keeping the mess to a minimum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Picklelillie from A game changer I've only just started doing lino cut printing but I really found myself struggling to keep the lino still and protecting my fingers even though I was using a hand guard. This bit of equipment, however, has been a revelation to me, not only does it have a bottom bar of wood to allow you to latch it on to the table to stop sliding, it also has further wooden bars to allow the lino to be held in one position making carving so much easier and safer making the process far more enjoyable. This is a real must I think especially if you've just started out with lino printing.
