Complete waste of money.
I bought these to use for my Pom Pom making as I’d been using embroidery scissors which have started to become blunt. I’d seen a few videos of people with these type of scissors (snips) but I’ve been left super disappointed as they just don’t cut the yarn. On further inspection it’s a clear as to why they don’t work, the blades don’t seem to meet each other. I’m going to treat myself to a pair of more expensive snips from the local independent wool dispensary.

Waste of money
Flimsy and couldn’t cut yarn! Better off buying a small paid of scissors. The blades barely touch.

Do the job
They cut yarn very well so happy with purchase. The blades are a little thinner than scissors and very sharp edges and tips, so absolutely not suitable for children or elderly unsteady hands. I have made a cardboard sleeve to keep them in safely. On opening the pack the blade tips were crossed the wrong way, diverging from each other, thought they were damaged but I easily recrossed the blades so they bite together, and all is fine now.

Nice and sharp, but a little flimsy
Really pleased with the blades themselves as they trim my needle felting projects right down to the surface. The plastic handle is pretty flimsy and has switched the blades back to front. Easy to rectify, but not sure how many more times it will take it. Overall, does the job.

Disappointed
These are great in theory but they bend back to far and the blades dont touch so you need to get them back into shape before you can use them, they are very sharp but I am on the lookout for some new ones

Not bad quality yarn snips
Bought these to trim lots of pom poms - they are ok but the blades do slip a bit and I'm not sure how long they'll last but so far, justabout up to the task so happy with them.

Easy to use
I used a similar product for work and these are a lot easier to use than scissors for knitting projects as well as sewing easy to unpick stitching if can’t find stitch unpicker

Simple but useful Yarn Snips
I purchased these yarn snips after watching a beginners video to knitting. It is a simple tool but one that serves it purpose very well. A must have for all would be knitters.
