Final result very pretty
I bought this for my grandson (aged 7) to do when he spent some time with me. He really enjoyed painting the cat, though was a bit impatient that he had to wait for it to dry! The next day he finished it though I had to thread the string through. This was my minus star, the string kept unthreading when he tried to push the end through so I put some wax on the end and it worked ok, but it should be better so children can do it. He looked lovely once completed.

Doesn’t hang straight
This was reduced in the sale from £4 to £3.
I found out why once I’d finished painting it and when went to hang it. The section with the tail isn’t balanced and hangs over to one side – not at all like in the product photo where it sits nicely upright.
Hobbycraft, you should have taken this off the shelves completely not reduced it so more customers can waste their time and money.
