The Airfix Hawker Hurricane Mk.I Model Kit is the perfect addition to your Airfix collection.

During the early part of WWII, the Hawker Hurricane was the RAFs most crucial fighter plane. They performed a valiant defence against the Luftwaffe during the Blitzkrieg, due to their tough, partly fabric covered body. Despite slower than the Messerschmitt Bf109, and with a less destructive armament, the Hurricane was able to turn tighter and absorb considerable punishment.

The model kit features sprues and decals, with 127 parts included. The must-have aircraft will be a great choice for your Second World War range, capturing the Hawker in authentic detail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from 1/48 Hurricane A nice kit to build. I needed to do some cleaning up work and filing to get the top wings to fit nicely to the bottom of the wing. The idea of cutting out the wing section to have the detachable wing covers to show off the machine guns isn't brilliant. Again more cutting out and filing. Airfix should have done the wings as open and if you wanted them closed just stick the supplied pieces in. Overall though a good model of a Hurricane mk1 in 1/48

Rated 4 out of 5 by StratosphericArt from Solid overall Not the most detailed thing in he world, but pretty excellent nonetheless. Very easy to put together, but the absence of seatbelts is very much felt. Some masking tape and a scalpel could help with that though
