Terrible for use with Cricut maker
I needed this in a hurry so I bought it on click and collect and unfortunately didn't check it before I left the store. One out of the 3 pieces was completely warped and distorted and unusable. I have been trying to use one of the flat pieces today in my Cricut maker. For some reason the masking tape needed to hold it to the mat won't stick to it (I have had no problems with basswood of the same thickness sourced elsewhere) and it shredded and peeled off and small bits of masking tape are now gumming up the inside of my almost new machine. Finally, I bought basswood for modelmaking as it should have a very fine grain, but this had a very noticable large grain which doesn't look like any basswood I have seen before. I can only conclude its a very cheap product although its definitely not cheap to buy. I won't attempt to use any of the remaining sheets (I also purchased another in a different size) becuase I don't want to risk further damage to my Cricut. A very expensive mistake - I won't be purchasing wood here again.

I made miniature furniture and balsa can be a bit soft sometimes. Ive been looking for basswood for ages so really pleased to have found it here.
