DMC thread
I was looking for thread number 401 in anchor but it wasn't in stock so I asked a member of staff if there was a conversion chart to see if I could get the same colour in DMC. The member of staff was extremely helpful and found the exact colour in DMC. I have now managed to finish my cross stitch. Very happy.

good for a mid-grey
not many monochrome shades available, but this worked well as a mid grey, not really any other colour in it - and not too dark or light!
