Just the right size for socks, OK socks are cheap but it saves landfill ok!

Ideal size
Bought to darn my husband's work socks which I must say, made the job a whole easier. I have room to store it with the handle attached so I glued it in place but this is obviously down to personal preference. A great little accessory for my sewing kit.

Stocking filler
My daughter is a runner and is forever putting holes in her expensive socks. The darning mushroom is durable and long lasting. It will give her a lifetime of hole-free socks. A great stocking filler.

It wasn't the wooden darner that was in store but the plastic version. I was ok for what I needed and having the base that you could store you darning needles was really handy.
