Wooden needles an improvement on metal.
Recently taught my 12 year old granddaughter to knit. After knitting small squares using leftover yarn from her favourite sweaters, etc.we turned them into a patchwork memories cushion.
She was keen to move onto something bigger and had bought very chunky yarn but I had to visit Hobbycraft for large needles. In just one evening she knitted up one ball of yarn and started on a second. She is absolutely thrilled to bits with what she has achieved so far and we are planning another quick trip to Hobbycraft to buy another 3 balls so she can finish her new sweater before Christmas.

I found them at last!
After searching online on many knitting and craft websites, I went for the first time to Hobbycraft. I was so surprised with the amount of choice of everything you could possibly need, and so delighted to find these hard-to-find size needles. I shall be a regular from now on.

Lovely to use but paint chipping off
These are beautiful to look at, and nice and tactile... but even after just a short use the blue paint is chipping off the ends, making them look a bit messy. I love that they have a big end so that loose stitches don't fall off and they are nice and long.

So pretty
These are such pretty knitting needles, work really well and really long to help you avoid losing a stitch. The blue at the end rubs off quite quickly when using but this is barely noticeable!

Lovely needles
Lovely knitting needles...very smooth and easy to knit with giving a nice chunky finish. The blue adds a dash of interesting colour on them!
