Popper fastener perfect on leather bag
Food in perfectly with existing poppers on leather satchel.
Simple process, easy to do, unless the leather is too thick (had to hammer it to thin it out enough). Still it created a great finished look and have extra stability to a pocket that was falling open.

Decent price for an ok product
The system works and is a good price but is pretty fiddly to make sure you get the right bits in the right places. Make sure that you make holes for the studs to go through beforehand otherwise the material will pucker.

Complete waste of time
Bought these & found several parts missing or badly manufactured with only 7 complete press studs in the packet.
Unfortunately none were usable as one of the 4 tools included was missing.
The manufacturers were not interested & just told me to return them to Hobycraft who replaced them immediately with no fuss.

Great product

Millard Brass Press fastener
These are tricky to insert, not enough pressure they don’t attach tightly and too much pressure, they become distorted and unusable
They are expensive so you don’t want to waste them on practicing and therefore my project was ruined due to a press fastener that didn’t work!!

Lovely but you have to get it right
The finish looked great on a felt jacket I made but I did have a few problems inserting the studs correctly. Maybe I was just too enthusiastic, so I ended up using 8 where I only needed 10, luckily with sharp pliers the others came away cleanly.

Very disappointing
Was looking forward to finishing my shirt with the poppers. I followed the instructions carefully and gave a couple of taps with small hammer and the gadget snapped !
Waste of money. Had to order proper pliers online.

Press fasteners
Quality wasn't as good as expected. A few studs were wasted because they buckled when hammered. These were supposed to be 'anorak strength' but they did not feel like they were strong enough.
