Don't buy this brand
My son spent his pocket money on this. It's a good thing I'm a long serving modeller, these are not a bargain. This brand will give you a bad impression of an enjoyable hobby. The parts don't fit together very well. The quality of the plastic is rubbish. The detail is non existent and when he was removing them from the sprue he broke some bits, leaving me to calm him down and fix them. We made a wrong decision, but he did want to build a helicopter. Just avoid it, Hobby Craft need to stop selling this companies products.

MisterCraft D-02 'Super Lynx' HMA.3
It is one of a few helicopters I am going to build after a decade and will require a few upgrades in addition to detailing and decals.
The plan offers the placement only available as an aftermarket sheet.
Measured up, it appears okay bur a part that is missing/broken off will need a full tail replacement which, luckily, was part of the plan.
Missing part:- Fret (A) Part 24. Part of the tail rotor assembly, Step7.
As usual, it seems to a lot of kits and manufacturers, lack of operating crews but again to be accepted.
I also managed to pickup the Haynes manual, purely as a reference. So look forward to building etc winter 2022-23.

Rubbish, don't even think about buying this
As per other reviews, parts don't fit, part numbers are wrong, peices missing, total lack of any definition. Instructions show all kinds of detail that are not there on the actual part.
Instructions say most of the decals are available seperatly, but not how to obtain them. I E.Mail them but have heard nothing back.
Paint scheme suggests 5 different colours all using the same RAL / FS numbers.

Very poor product.
I bought this as my partner pointed it out on the shelf and said “why don’t you build one of these?”. I’ve made many models of various quality’s and this is by far the worst. The fit is poor the parts on sprue don’t look anything like the instructions. The decals are the wrong size and fall apart. I’m very surprised that company like HobbyCraft sells something this poor. This would scare away any young person from enjoying a very interesting and fulfilling hobby. DO NOT BUY!

Rubbish, but ok as a starting point?
The box and instructions make this model look better than it is, the model itself has a surprisingly low amount of detail in comparison, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone wanting to do anything serious with it (especially children) as the plastic is weird and the parts don't fit 100% perfectly or look that good. Fortunately I used this model as the base for another model (a 40k kitbash if you want to know) which made it an adequate and economical starting point for that.

Terrible
Terrible kit, poor quality plastic, rubbish instructions and parts do not fit together at all well. Detail is non-existant. Only bought cause it seemed cheap, its cheap, in more ways than one.
