Lack of cuttng dies at Hobby Craft.
I purchased my 'Sizzix' die cutting machine at my local 'Hobbycraft' store about 6 years ago, and there was at that time a good selection of dies to choose from. I am very happy with my 'Sizzix' machine and have no intention of buying a machine that adds to my electric bill. The selection of dies at my local store is now non existent. This being the case I use a site called 'Craftstash', which gives me lots of brand names and choice
As you do not stock a full range of dies I hope you will understand that this post is for those who love their die cutting creations and are finding that 'Hobbycraft' no longer cater for their needs.
Two of my other hobbies are 'Silk painting' and 'glass painting', and sadly 'Hobbycraft' don't stock those materials either.

Haven't used the die yet, as I have finished this year's Christmas cards, so will keep it for next year, because I have waited so long for Christmas dies to appear. I was very disappointed the last twice I have visited Hobbycraft to find that there are hardly any dies for sale, and purchased the Santa's Sleigh Christmas Die in desperation, as with the embossing folder I purchased. Not everyone wants, or has the facilities to use an electric die cutting machine, so I have relied on obtaining dies from Hobbycraft that suit my Sissix die cutting machine, for which I have recently purchased cutting plates. I am sure there are other customers in the same position who are also disappointed. I live in Harrogate and we don't have a store nearby, the nearest ones are in York or Leeds, so I make a special journey to visit, usually York Monk's Cross store, and I said, I have been really disappointed recently, and wonder if making the journey in future is worth my time and money.

I recently purchased this lovely, and large die, which popped up at a great price, on the Clearance section. It was too late to use it for 2022 Christmas cards, labels etc., but I will definitely be using it for this years' Christmas crafting. It's lovely and such a good size, I tried it in my Gemini die cutter and it cuts well too. It's also snipable, which, as a topper is perfect for all card sizes Highly recommended.

Bargain Christmas Die, big
