Sew Easy Yellow Marking Pencil

Probably works fine for cotton
Bought this to mark on a puffer jacket for embroidery. Didn't work, not even transferred from tracing paper, or dissolved in water.
Used a water soluble colour pencil instead which worked marvellously.

Marking pencil
This pencil is much easier to use than the traditional tailors chalk , it's bright colour also makes it easy to see on light and dark fabrics

Get those seams right!
Was using an ordinary pencil before. Not ideal! Tried the invisible pen but it faded a bit too quick!!

Dressmaking pencil
Easier to use than most due to it's similarity to a normal pencil. Leaves nice clean easy to follow lines. Didn't need to remove the marks so don't know how effective it would be to 'erase'.

Not great but Manageable
Bought to mark up a dark aida so that I can cross stitch in the evening. Pencil is not great but it is manageable. Didn't want to use a pen as it will be marked up for more than 28 days.

Functional
Works well but you need to keep sharpening it. Easy to use and the yellow shows up well on most coloured materials.

This worked pretty well on dark blue fabric, much better than the waxy white pencils you get in thread kits
