Have used M&P for many years, so consider that I have a reasonable working knowledge of method.
I personally won’t be buying any more of this Hobbycraft branded product, as I’m unhappy with the final product appearance/result.
Previously Hobbycraft sold ‘Stephenson’s’ which worked brilliantly (and was produced in the Uk rather than China!)
However this new Hobbycraft branded M&P soap cools just too quickly to give a good finish.
The previously sold brand (and those I have bought elsewhere before Hobbycraft stocked M&P), give sufficient time to successfully add colours and fragrances (essential oils) for the melted soap to be easily poured into moulds, without an awful streak of a skin forming or product setting before it can be transferred out of the glass jug/ pan!
I gave this product two stars, only as the soap has a reasonable foam when used for washing hands.
