Canvases..before using
First of all …..3 canvases for £48, great price , but having chosen very carefully they all needed attention
Wedges needed packing a bit, for a tight fit, wrap insulation tape around once or twice
All canvases needed more stretching, spray hot, boiling water on back, do not completely soak, dry with a hairdryer, may need corners treated a couple of times
Paint on another coat of primer
I am now painting and very satisfied with how the canvas is performing
They are not grade one professional canvases, but at this price they are perfectly adequate for most people….I will be showing and trying to sell these in galleries.

This product is worth the value
This is a 100x100 cm , 100% unbleached cotton stretched canvas I bought for my painting. It has a springy and tight surface that comes pre primed . The canvas is very easy to use works very nice with acrylics . Its construction makes the paint blend well and smooth on the surface .

Not the best
Bought two of these at the same time and when the first one was opened it turned out to be warped under the wrapping.
Had to go back to the shop to exchange it but the stock in the shop wasn’t perfect either.
Managed to pick the best from what was there and it was ok.
Hopefully the 2nd one I bought originally will be better than the 1st otherwise it’s another trip back to the shop .

Great canvases
Gosh, I love this shop. Very tempted to buy more, but running out of space in plan-chests, under bed, in the barn, etc.. Only bought 3, but this will make a beautiful triptych called Bacchus. Will dangle empty liquor bottles from the lower edge. Well, I will when I can afford to frame it. I often cut down on food rather than on art materials, and Hobbycraft is always there to help!

Nice & Large!
Bought this as I'm extending my abstracts into larger sized paintings now. This is a good size and luckily it fits into my small car.
Although it's larger than my painting table I am able to work on it vertically as it balances nicely on my studio windowsill.
Good surface for acrylics and spray paints.
I purchased online and collected in store.

Stretched to perfection
These Chines made canvas are great cotton quality and pre-primed ready for use although I do like to put another coloured primer on before I use them so I have a distinct ground tp paint on rather than white. However that is just my preference. There is also a good range of sizes. I like painting large so I'm well catered for.

Fantastic
This is a great canvas, works well with Acrylic, Oils and Watersoluble Oils.
Also good for mixed media.
They are great quality for the price.
