Decent product for the price
The canvas is strong and well coated; I had no problems with the primer. I have found it is not stretched as taut as I would like and even with the wooden pegs provided I couldn't get it to a tightness I wanted. The crossbar exacerbated this as the canvas would touch it while I painted and make a line. I fixed this by simply removing the crossbar, as it was not so big a size that it really needed one. It's probably perfect for uses other than painting but - while I am managing fine so far - I wouldn't immediately recommend it for fine painting unless you have some way of making it more stretched other than just the wee pegs as it does tend to "bounce" quite a lot

Unfit artists canvas
In the store the canvas was it a cellophane shrink wrap it looked ok. However later that day I decided Iwould give extra coats of gesso primer.
When I unpacked the canvas it was all slack at the bottom and poorly stretched onto the frame . I knew the stretcher keys would do no.good to resolve this and they didnt. I took the canvas back. I was a good 10 minutes with 3 assistants arguing the toss they clearly did not want to exchange or refund until I said OK we will go down another avenue its simply not fit for intended purpose. At that point I was given a refund. I was still out of pocket with my vehicle running costs through all this. I would never buy a stretch canvas fron Hobbycraft again I doubt if I will trade there again.

Good size
This is a good size, unfortunately the corners had dents where the canvas hadn’t been stacked/ stored/ handled properly. This seems to be an ongoing problem with canvases from hobby craft.

Excellent value for money
I love these large canvases as I paint abstracts that simply don't look as effective on smaller ones.
I've looked around other stores but Hobbycraft offer the best prices on this sized canvases and I wouldn't buy elsewhere now. As soon as you take off the wrapping they're ready to use and the acrylics I use sit well on it.

Good quality canvas for reasonable price
I have bought so many of these canvases they’re a good quality canvas for a reasonable price. Similar size canvases are usually a lot more expensive or they have very thin canvas stretched on them. The fabric on these canvases seem thick with a gesso layer. Definitely recommend

Fantastic set of colours and excellent Value
Lovely set to start out with or top up an existing collection! Really useful to have a set that gives such a huge spectrum of the colour ranges and hues in one box. Fantastic value for money (on offer at £25 a box when I purchased it). Good quality brand.

Good quality but size not exactly spot on
This is a really good size and proportion but it os often not exactly the right size and can be a cm out. This doesn't matter to the overall look but of you are gridding the canvas to copy something then it might be slightly out.

Bad
All canvasses were warped. This was the second chance for Hobbycraft after the last batch were all really badly stretched. None have been useable. I won't be ordering any more. A shame but quality control seems non-existent.
