This frame is exactly what I wanted.
The 30cms square Hobbycraft white box frame is perfect for float mounting my paintings.
The frame is made from real wood and and delivers high quality framing for very little cost.
I have recommended them to my fellow artists looking for top quality framing at an affordable price.
Brilliant if you can get them on sale as I did, such great value!

Love the versatility of this frame.
Using Christmas giftbags as a back drop and some decorations i have made several of these into Xmas pictures for the festive season. I can then take the contents out and use them for photo collages or inspirational quotes the rest of the year. Suggested to my friend they would be ideal to line with velvet to display her fathers war medals as well. you can also drop the glass back and put foil behind it (or a sheet of scrapbook paper) and use it laying flat to put a snow scene, add pine cones and candles etc A particularly good bargain at the moment - already bought 6 in the last month or so

Economic Framing
I have now purchased a number of these box frames for exhibition purposes. They represent excellent value and are unusual in their format. They are simple to open and load with artwork. I like the square format. I recently noticed an improvement in the finish.
My only problem with them when I first used them was the frame was not the size it has printed on the label but is in fact slightly larger.
Its not a problem now I know what to expect so I account for that in the work I plan to use them for. All in all an excellent product representing excellent value for money.

Cheap and it shows
The frame had a few dents on the front which you could maybe get away with, but what really let the product down was when I tried to take the back off to put a picture in, the back was so tight that when I pulled the hook to pull out the back the hook came off from the backing board!! That left no way to actually get into the frame to put a picture.
Overall very disappointing, the frame was the perfect size which I haven't found again but quality definitely let it down.

This product is a great find!
I have brought this product many times as I enjoy creating different designs to go inside. The box is a great idea and really gives that finishing touch to a home. I have had many compliments by others. The only downside is when you take the back off too many times, the small metal pieces holding the back in will snap and therefore the back falls out - some improvement needed but other than that, it’s great!

Be careful and look at the frames very carefully before you purchase as many of them are damaged by little marks

I was extremely unimpressed with this particular item.
The glass was scratched and the frame was of very poor quality.
It is sold as 30 X 30 cm but if you measure it, you'll find it's actually 32 x 32cm so was not able to hold the picture I had intended to use it for.
All in all, not worth it. I've had to return mine and am now waiting for a refund.

Lovely deep but solid box frame at an amazing price! Deep enough to use as a keepsake frame for wedding trinkets or baby bits special memories but also looks great adding depth to simple photos. The glass is quite stable and the solid wood spacer inside helps keep items from being too close to the back. Good solid back and hanging latch.
