ECONOMY BOX PICTURE FRAMES
I really like these frames. They attracted positive comments in my recent exhibition. The problem with them is the frame size is not indicative of the actual glass size, which is the norm for measuring frame sizes. Your frames show the size of the exposed area through the frame, I measured it to make sure. A normal 40cm X 40cm frame would accept work up to a maximum of 40 X 40. Your frames require larger than the size stated. The down side for me was that I cut my images to the stated size and found that they did not fill the back of the frame and had to be re-done, which cost me time and money! But the frame is good for the price, made of wood, not chipboard and with glass, not plastic. All in all I am happy with it but you need to speak to your supplier or get your buyer to know the rules of buying and selling frames.

Not as expected
This is ok as a frame- it seems sturdy and is attractive..however I feel it is a little mis sold.
There is a backing image in the frame which clearly shows a backing mount and inner frame. I was surprised when I took this out to realise that there is no mount or backing in the frame, only the chipboard frame back.
This was a nuisance but would be ok if it weren't for the fact that hobbycraft DO NOT sell mounting materials to fit this frame. There is no product you can buy to go along with it. In fact they then sell very few options in the way of card etc that is big enough to fit.
Be aware if you buy this that you will have to do extra shopping. Having bought this to use as part of a gift, I am now having to scramble for extra materials.

Little bit disappointing!
I bought this frame to display a floral wreath I had made for a family member which she wanted to give as a 21st birthday present to her grandaughter. The frame looked nice when I bought it but on closer inspection at home it was not quite as good quality as I thought but i figured that at half price it would be ok. When it came to putting the wreath in the frame and closing it up by laying flat the small metal clips at the back, 4 of them snapped off. As I bought it some time ago and didn't have the receipt I couldn't really take it back so I glued some of the gaps that the missing clips made as hopefully the wreath won't be removed from the frame anytime soon.

Box frame
Price was very reasonable, the white finish was perfect for my front room and the size was just right. I fixed everything I wanted in to it. Made a lovely display for my dog that sadly passed away. It looks great. Very happy with it.

Great overall finish of the frame
I’ve purchased this frame a few times before as they’re of great quality and look modern and stylish. With one of the frames I filled it with dried red rose petals I’ve collected over the years and it looks fantastic and is also a great place to store them without hiding them away. On another frame I created a rolled paper art piece in abstract style using vibrant oranges, dark blacks and pearly whites. The frame border compliments the piece perfectly and also has a great amount of depth for the paper to be three dimensional to about a half inch. The only fault I’ve had with my recent purchase of this frame was that once the backing was removed to insert my pictures I found it so difficult to put it back inside that I ended up having to trim the edges. Once it fit back in again it looked great and the trimming can’t be seen, so no problems there.
I will definitely be returning to purchase more of these frames for further art projects.

Really spacious
This box frame was a spur of the moment buy to put my newborns hospital pieces in as a momento and it worked perfectly and fit everything and more in there, even though I bought it at half price, I would happily buy another at full price

Great Frames
I use these frames to display pins, they look great on the wall and are easy to display crafts, photos or collectables. A bit expensive when full price, but good value for money when on offer.
