Xcut No 1 Craft Knife

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A sharp choice for your needs! Beautifully sharp and happy to handle almost anything you put beneath it. Several sheets of cardboard later and it still has an impressive edge, though I keep that blade for paper and ribbon and have a new blade for tougher or thicker substances. The 4-piece refill that comes with the knife will last you a while, even as a regular crafter. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that the tip can easily snap off if you put too much pressure on it at the wrong angle - it doesn't hinder use of the blade, but it can sting if it hits you or you step on it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy grip craft knife This is the best quality craft knife I've ever bought. It has a comfortable grip so you can concentrate on precision cutting and is easy to glide through card, acetate and other materials, would definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would definitely recommend this product. I do a lot of papercraft and have found this knife the best I have tried so far. The ergonomics are great. In your hand it feels like you are holding a pen rather than a knife. So it feels very natural. I find I can complete work quicker. The soft grip is especially good if using the knife for a long period. It represents great value for money, and replacement blades are readily available. Thoroughly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little knife I owned this knife previously for 3 years and it really went through the wars with me! It was used pretty much every day for all sorts of things, cutting paper, woods, plastic. In the end the reason it snapped was my own fault, I definitely pushed it too far lol. I personally do not buy the blade of the same brand as they don't tend to last long and arent as sharp as other brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good product very sharp The craft knife is very sharp - be careful when you get it out of the packet, my husband cut his finger by accident...It did not work too well with a very heavy duty board though so we did not get the right tool for the job in hand. However it did work well with a lighter foam / polystyrene cardboard board and paper / card with a clean cut

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little knife I've bought and used a hobby knife before and the blades always slipped out of the handle during use. I was a little worried that this would be the same, with the low price tag, but it's wonderful. The blades are secure and it is easy to use, comfortable in the hand. I love the little lid for the tip too.
