Great neutral colour to use on everything
I use this neutral thread for most seams in my patchwork quilting. I think of it more as beige than grey. Yo be honest I would have liked a bigger reel, but could only see the 100m reel in the store I visited

love the texture of the thread
I really like using gutermann threads. I love the variegated was and have a few now. I have a habit of buying a few when they are reduced in a sewing accessories sale.

Good
Good quality thread recommended by my sewing machine shop. Cheaper thread makes more fluff in the works. Plus I prefer to sew cotton fabric with cotton thread.

Sewing cotton may not be the most exciting craft item, but I prefer using natural fibres and the range of colours meant I had an excellent match to my fabric.
