Step-14
Making Up: Tie a knot in one end of the elastic and stitch to the reverse (i.e. what will become the inside) of one of the moustache pieces.
Step-15
Try on the moustache so you can work out how long the elastic needs to be. Place a pin in the elastic at the point you'd like it to meet the other side of the moustache, as a guide, and stitch the end to the inside as before; trim any excess as necessary.
Step-16
Pin the other moustache piece to the first, ensuring that the elastic is sandwiched between the two. With matching yarn, sew the moustache pieces together by oversewing around the edge using small tight stitches to create a smooth finish.
Step-17
Weave in ends, and your moustache disguise is complete!
