How to Make a Hajj Diorama
Eid-ul-Adha is the biggest of the two Eids and also the last day of Hajj (the major pilgrimage in the Muslim faith). It’s one of the five pillars of Islam and it marks a special five to six days of rites, bringing in Muslims from across the world.
This tutorial is the perfect activity to enjoy with the kids as it's fun and educational! Learn how to make a Kaaba, Mount Arafat, a well of Zamzam water, and more.
Create each part day by day or make the whole set and follow the footsteps of the pilgrims as they make their way through each day.

You will need
To paint the man, use the white paint to paint his Ihram (special clothing for Hajj) going across his left shoulder. Add his hair and beard.
You might need a couple of coats - let it dry completely between layers.
For the woman, paint her hijab first by painting a band across the top of her body. Then paint the rest of her head, leaving a circle for her face.
Paint the rest of her body in a different colour to create her clothes. You can also paint her skin colour in brown as I have done.
Use the stickers to add some gold detailing.
Cut and trace around the template.
Cut these out of scrap cardboard and assemble.
Fold green cardstock into 4.
Cut into a leave shape.
