Love Bracelet

You Will Need
Elastic, gold alphabet beads, gold heart separator beads, dark pink gemstone beads, bead box.

Start by cutting a length of elastic. Approx. 30cm should be plenty for one bracelet.

Thread the word LOVE in gold alphabet beads with a gold heart separator bead on either side. Add a selection of three or four gemstone beads on either side.

Next, thread on some coral colour mini beads onto the elastic. Check every so often that the bracelet will fit by wrapping the beaded section around your wrist.

Once the bracelet fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the gold beads to hide the knot.

Initial Ring

You Will Need
Elastic, multicolour alphabet beads, gold separator beads, bead box.

Cut a length of elastic. Thread on your selected alphabet bead and a gold heart separator bead on either side.

Next thread a selection of mini beads in your chosen colours.

Wrap the elastic around your finger to see if you have threaded enough beads. If not, keep adding a few more until it wraps around fully.

Once the ring fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the gold beads to hide the knot.

Hoop Earrings: Step 1

You Will Need
Gold plated ear wires, 0.8mm gold plated wire, dark blue gemstone beads, gold separator beads, 3 in 1 pliers.

Using the bottom wire cutter part of your 3 in 1 pliers, cut a length of gold wire to your desired length. The earrings pictured were made with a length of wire approx. 20cm long.

Wrap the wire around something circular, to bend it into shape.

Thread a selection of gold separator beads onto the hoop with gemstone beads in between. Once the beads have been thread, bend one of the ends of wire to a 90 degree angle.

Wrap the other end of the wire around the upright piece several times in order to ensure it is secure. Use the wire cutter portion of the pliers to snip off the remaining wire.

Use the round nose or flat nose part of the pliers to squash the freshly cut end of wire flat so there are no sharp bits.

Hoop Earrings: Step 2

Cut the remaining upright piece of wire leaving approx. 1cm to work with.

Use the round nose part of the pliers to bend the wire around on itself to create a small hoop. Ensure the end of the hoop is touching the start of the hoop so that there are no gaps.

Use your pliers to slightly open the hoops at the bottom of a gold plated ear wire.

Thread the open hoop on the ear wire through the small hoop at the top of the beaded hoop and use your pliers to close the ear wire. You will now have one completed earring. Repeat the steps to create your second earring.

Beaded Necklace

You Will Need
Stringing wire, gold plated crimp beads, gold separator beads, gold jump rings, crimping pliers, 3 in 1 pliers.

Use the wire cutter section of your 3 in 1 pliers to cut a 19” length of the stringing wire.

Thread a small crimp bead onto the wire and then a clasp. Loop the wire back over on itself and thread the end back through the crimp bead.

Using your crimping pliers - squash the crimp bead so it is completely flat and doesn’t move.

Thread seven round separator beads, followed by a star bead. Keep repeating this pattern until you necklace measures 16”.

Once your necklace is 16”, thread on another crimp bead and a gold jump ring. Loop the wire back around on itself and back through the last crimp bead. Use your crimping pliers to squash the bead flat. Pull the excess wire through a few of the beads and cut off the excess. Your beaded necklace is now complete!

Gemstone Ring

You Will Need
Elastic, dark blue gemstone beads, gold separator beads.

Cut a length of elastic. Thread three blue gemstone beads onto the elastic.

Next thread some round separator beads onto the elastic.

Wrap the elastic around your finger to see if you have threaded enough beads. If not, keep adding more until it wraps around fully.

Once the ring fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the gold separator beads to hide the knot.

Drop Earrings

You Will Need
Silver plated ear wire, silver plated ball headpin, light pink gemstone beads, bead box, round nose pliers, 3 in 1 pliers.

Take a ball head pin and alternate threading light pink gemstones and silver mini beads. Leave approx. 1cm of wire at the top of the pin. Bend this to a 90 degree angle.

Using the round nose pliers, hold the end of the headpin and bend the wire around the pliers to create a small hoop.

Once you have created the hoop, use a pair of pliers to open it up by pulling the end of the hoop towards you.

Thread on a silver plated ear wire. Use your pliers to close the hoop again. You now have one finished earring. Repeat to create the second earring.

Rainbow Bracelet

You Will Need
Elastic, bead box, gold separator beads.

Start by cutting a length of elastic. Approx. 30cm should be plenty for one bracelet.

Next, thread a red mini bead, followed by four round separator beads.

Repeat this pattern but change the colour of the mini bead each time. Check every so often that the bracelet will fit by wrapping the beaded section around your wrist.

Once the bracelet fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the gold spacer beads to hide the knot.

Gemstone Necklace: Step 1

You Will Need
Dark green gemstone beads, gold plated eyepins, gold plated trace chain, gold plated jump rings, gold plated trigger clap, 3 in 1 pliers, round nose pliers.

Thread a selection of the dark green gemstones onto three of the gold eyepins. Leave approx. 1 cm at the top. Bend the remaining wire at a 90 degree angle and use the round nose plier section of the 3 in 1 pliers to bend the wire around into a small hoop.

Use your pliers to slightly reopen the hoop you have just formed and thread the open end through one of the gold chain links. Close the hoop.

Measure 1.5” of the chain and cut through one of the links using wire cutter section of your 3 in 1 pliers. Repeat the last two steps so that all of your beaded eyepins are attached with a length of chain in between each.

Gemstone Necklace: Step 2

Cut two 6” lengths of chain.

Open a gold jump ring by pulling one half of the ring towards you and the other half away from you.

Thread the open jump ring onto one of the lengths of chain you have just cut. Close the jump ring by pulling both halves back towards each other.

Open another jump ring and thread onto the other piece of chain. Before closing this jump ring, thread on one of the clasps and then close the jump ring.

Use your pliers to open the small hoop at the end of your first and last beaded eyepin. Thread one piece of chain onto one eye pin and then thread the other onto the other side. Close both of these hoops to complete the necklace.

Star Ring

You Will Need
Elastic, silver separator beads, bead box.

Start by cutting a length of elastic. Thread on a silver star bead with a round separator bead on either side.

Thread on some silver mini beads. Wrap the elastic and threaded beads around your finger to see if you have threaded enough.

Once the ring fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the silver beads to hide the knot.

Heart Bracelet

You Will Need
Elastic, silver separator beads, bead box

Start by cutting a length of elastic. Approx. 30cm should be plenty for one bracelet.

Thread a heart separtor bead onto the elastic with a round separator bead on either side.

Next add 5 silver mini beads. Keep repeating this pattern, checking every so often that the bracelet will fit by wrapping the beaded section around your wrist.

Once the bracelet fits, tie a knot in the elastic. Add a small drop of clear glue to secure the knot. Once the glue has dried, cut the remaining elastic ends off. Pull the elastic inside one of the silver spacer beads to hide the knot.
