Perfect (for my non-cross stitch needs)
Can't comment on its use for cross stitch, but I use it in scale modelling as grating, vents, fencing or anything else where a regular grid effect is useful. Ideally needs an aerosol undercoat before painting as otherwise acrylic paints won't adhere very well.
Easy to cut and the A4 size provides plenty material at 28-35mm scale.

I love working with it but besides Hobbycraft and Letham Craft shop, no other outlet has it. Glad Hobbycraft carries this and know what I am talking about and your stffis knowledgeable and helpful for a crafter like me.

Great for stiffening crochet projects
I used this to stiffen the inside of a crown for a crochet project, as directed by a pattern. I had never heard of it before but this was brilliant for the project and on half price offer!

Ideal for learning cross stitch
I used this to teach my 6 year old granddaughter to cross stitch with wool. It worked well. It’s not as flexible as softer material but is more robust and reusable.
